Multimedia musical performance
The year 2021 has been recognized by the Polish Republic Parliament and the Lithuanian Republic Parliament
as the year of the Constitution of May 3.

 
The event was prepared to commemorate the 230th anniversary of the enactment of the first constitution in Europe.

Multimedia musical performance ”Constitution of 1791”

The ”Constitution of 1791’’ spectacle is dedicated to the first in Europe and the second in the world Basic Law. The programme features the author’s work inspired by particular chapters of the Constitution of the 3rd of May 1791. The whole concept creates a compact story, where the  verbal layer is based on the author’s lyrics, quotes from the Constitution of 1791 and acting interludes – short inserts that introduce the listeners to the world of the last decade of the 18th century. In the musical layer, the performance strongly refers to the present, which creates the climate of a coherent story, understandable for listeners. The event is complemented by visualisations, including original graphics, animations and mapping realised in selected locations.

Maciej Fortuna – a trumpet player, composer and university lecturer, is responsible for the entire  composition, lyrics and direction. Music will be performed by an ensemble under the direction of the composer, consisting of:

The spectacle was prepared in four language versions (Polish, Lithuanian, English and German), the translations of the text of the spectacle are an integral part of the visualisation.

The first preview of the play took place in the General Dabrowski Palace in Winna Gora. We would like to thank the director of the cultural institution, Mr Mark Roman, for his comprehensive support of the first public presentation of the play ‘’Constitution of 1791’’, including his invaluable assistance in organizing the set for the recording of the performance.

Many years of experience in the realization of historical events is a guarantee of quality and reliability of our productions.  The interdisciplinary form makes our proposals accessible to a wide audience.  We offer comprehensive implementation of events both at home and abroad.  Foreign productions are adjusted to the local preferences of the organizer (e.g. translations, cooperation with local actors in the destination countries).
